GREY is the only government Viront Z85 needs, or wants. The requirements of the populace are constantly evaluated against input from trusted individuals and high-impact syndicates. The system is at once opaque – GREY has a brain as wide as the planet, and its considerations are of inscrutable scale – and completely transparent, because everyone has a vested interest and the capacity to voice their opinion.

The Vironti attitude towards Alliance regulations is best described as “relaxed” – it does not reject them per se, but it is prone to a creative interpretation of rules that other planets follow to the letter. Ironically, this makes Vironti some of the most aware of Alliance law out of any planet’s populace of Alliance legal frameworks – one can’t push boundaries without knowing what they are, after all.
