Kessler starts more projects more frequently than anywhere else in the Alliance. The experimental culture emphasizes action over caution, and researchers are keen to finish their projects before they lose interest or get pulled away by other tasks. FABREP is one area in which Kesslerans excel – any lab worth its salt will have developed its own idiosyncratic suite for printing highly specialised tools and complex machine parts.

As part of its role as flying recycling center of the Alliance, Kessler has a reputation for being able to take anything apart and put it back together again. Whenever an artifact is found of unclear purpose but evident intent – from THRONE’s self-altering alloys to SHADOW’s emissive weapons – it generally winds up under a Kessleran microscope.
