Overview
Prop Requirements
Players must supply their own ammo. There is no limit to how much you can bring.
Ammo must not be modified. This includes (but is not limited to) altering the tip, adding weights or pins, or hardening the foam. The only exception is with half darts: you may cut down standard elite darts to make your own half darts.
Safety
All used darts, and new dart batches, must be checked prior to use. Darts in poor condition must be removed from circulation. Check for dirt and tears on the foam, and that it is not wet.
To see if your elite dart is a permitted type, pinch the tip. If the front of the tip fors a dip, is it likely to be safe. It it is very hard, doesn’t compress, or bulges out, it is likely to be banned. Referees will spot check darts.
Permitted Types
- Nerf elite or equivalent: accustrike, universal x-shot, koosh, waffle, accufake.
- Official nerf mega and rival rounds, or their equivalent.
- Half-darts: worker, accustrike, xshot, or equivalent.
Banned Types
- Elite style: velcro, suction cup, Full Vinyl Jacket, hard shiny tipped (common online), hard waffle.
- Other styles: Nerf N1, Nerf Ultra, Xshot (original), Mega XL, Nerf Arrow.
Getting back ammo
At the end of the event, all gathered darts will be moved to the A-COM Hub for players to collect. Do not take more than you came with, and expect to lose up to 20%.
Special Ammo
You may only use Special Ammo with Equipment that specifically allows it, such as a Blaster with the Ammo Chamber mod.
Do not shoot a foam dart. Use the call on its own while pointing your Blaster at the target, making sure you have their attention.
Rip the Ammo card after use.
