Viront Z85: Clothing
Virontee are ambitious innovators, specialising in implants and cybernetics. They aim to stand out from the crowd, making their own mark on the world and capitalising on business prospects. Commercial branding is the cornerstone of Virontee fashion: how do you make yourself memorable and sell yourself so others will invest in you?
Overview
Dress code: Flashy cyberpunk! Streetwear, integrated electronics, high collars on cropped hoodies. Angular patterns. Contrasting neon colour schemes, wild hair, lots of piercings and jewellery.
Possibilities: Viront is at the forefront when it comes to prosthetics and implants – think about blending the organic and the electronic when planning your character’s look.
Avoid: Viront isn’t a nightclub, and neither is the Ardent. Try to keep your attire appropriate to a particularly punky office, or a tattoo parlour. Vironti are often on the cutting edge of new fashions, but they’re not so image-obsessed that they’d wear garments impractical enough to get in the way of their work.
Stereotypical Look: High-Fashion Streetwear
Virontee aim to stand out from the crowd, creating their own high-concept streetwear look.
- Fabrics: Synthetic materials mixed with optional expensive natural silks, furs, and similar.
- Colours: Avoid washed-out looks. Viront has unlimited access to dyes and material production and makes full use of it, with colour-change and holographic fabrics seen here more than anywhere else.
- Constant upgrades: If something’s in disrepair, get it replaced. You want to show you’re at the top of your game.
Accessories
- Glasses, visors, and tech around the eyes, especially in neon colours.
- Loose straps to replicate techwear fashion.
- Visible cybernetics and implants on limbs.
Makeup
- Commercial tattoos marking allegiances and interests. Make them look like logos and symbols from a company’s brand.
- Bright makeup is very common, to help make the person stand out from a crowd.
Designing Groups
- Virontee will wear logos, symbols, and company taglines to mark their allegiances. Think about what symbol your group would work under and make sure it’s visible on your outfit.
Design Caution
- Plain suits with minimal accessories can easily overlap with Earth. Add more accessories, more customisation, and more makeup to move things firmly into a Virontee outfit.
- You want your outfit to look commercially designed, but not mass produced. Avoid plain or basic garments unless you are prepared to heavily modify them into a high-fashion statement piece.
- Cybernetics and implants can easily make Virontee look like Anthroids. Try to make it clear in your costuming that it is an artificial part added to flesh.
