Props
Paint Everything
All props must be suitably painted to fit the setting – whether it’s a 3D printed scanner, a nerf blaster, or camp set dressing.
Accessibility Aids
Accessibility aids are not considered immersion breaking, and are not required to follow costume or prop rules.
Plastic Props
Hard plastic props are permitted, even in combat scenarios, in line with allowance for Blasters. However, any sharp points or blade-like features must be rounded or covered to avoid puncturing someone accidentally. Do not use hard props around anyone’s face.
Where possible, we recommend rubber props.
Metal Tools
Metal “surgical” tools are only permitted in the Base, and should not be taken out onto Missions due to their sharp points.
Wide metal screwdrivers are permitted on Missions, but should not be used for roleplay on a person.
Lasers
Our insurance does not permit use of any type of laser at our events, including laser pens and laser sights.
