Theft and Arrest

Restraint and Carrying
Anyone can carry an unresisting character by themselves, or restrain someone with assistance from one other person.
You can opt to make your character weaker and need assistance with carrying someone.
Theft and looting
As this is a PvE game, we aim to discourage stealing from other players.
► Only game-provided props may be permanently taken: including resources, money, and lammies.
► Locked boxes must not be damaged in attempts to open them.
► Stolen physreps must be handed in to Lost Property within 15 minutes. There you will complete a short form to help trace the object back to its owner.
► You may not use someone else’s physrep without explicit permission.
► Crew’s physreps and weapons may only be taken if the crew member offers them OC during a search.
The Law
Player characters are subject to the laws of the Alliance in their interaction with each other and all life they encounter. Although not exhaustively listed here, they are the typical laws you might expect, including regulations against murder, torture, and theft, as well as specific laws against undermining or endangering the mission.
The Ardent’s Constitution
The Constitution is intentionally vague, to allow for debate surrounding the best course of action.
► Respect the autonomy of all peoples
► Learn, explore, and gather information about the universe
► Act to prevent harm, and avoid causing harm where possible
► Present the opportunities of the Alliance to those you encounter
It will not always be possible to abide by all four points of the Constitution.
Enforcement
Players may assist with law enforcement, but any official sanction against other player characters must be approved by A-COM. This helps the referees monitor PvP and step in where needed.
