Cyphers

This game will include a number of real world cypher puzzles, codes, and languages.

Substitution cyphers

Substitution cyphers replace each letter with another letter, either randomly, or using a rule.

Random

Random substitutions don’t have a rule to easily decode, and instead rely on trial and error or finding a key.

Caesar

A Caesar cypher is a simple substitution cypher where each letter is shifted along in the alphabet by a specific number. It is commonly decoded using a Caesar wheel.

Pigpen

A Pigpen cypher is a simple geometric substitution cypher, exchanging letters for a symbol from this grid.

Other Codes

More codes and cyphers may be used, but we intend to work gradually up to more difficult puzzles and provide In Game documents and tools to help solve them.
