Restoring Armour
Anyone can repair their own damaged armour and HP-based equipment unless it has been completely destroyed, for example, by dumping it in an incinerator.
Restoring A-HP (Armour Hit Points) or E-HP (Energy Hit Points) requires the use of Repair Patches, a cheap item that gets slapped on to fix the in-game equipment, or an item such as an AutoRepair Tool. Any patches will be physrepped by illustrated stickers that need physically sticking to the relevant physrep. If they fall off or are removed after, that’s fine!
Crushed Items
Items affected by the Crush call become physically broken, unable to be used. You will need to use a piece of equipment that specifically states it repairs crushed items.
Fault Cards
Fault cards are the mechanical version of Health cards, and will describe specific faults or adjustments to a piece of tech. They are most commonly handed out by referees.
You may only read how to resolve a fault card if you have an item that allows you to.
If you don’t have an item that lets you read the card, you can still try to fix the fault. Do the roleplay with a witness, and have them turn the card over at the end. If you’ve managed to predict everything correctly, it’s resolved! If not, nothing happens (unless otherwise instructed).
